License & Usage Terms

Every file on SVG Design Factory is offered under our Free License. When you download an SVG, DXF, or other design file from this site, you agree to the terms below. We have tried to keep the language plain so you know exactly where you stand before you cut, print, or sell anything.

This license applies to files you download directly from svgdesignfactory.com. It is a permission to use our designs; it does not transfer ownership of the designs themselves to you.

What you CAN do

The Free License is generous and covers the vast majority of what makers, crafters, and small businesses want to do:

• Use the files for personal projects of any kind, at home or as gifts.
• Use the files commercially to help run and promote a small business.
• Make and sell finished physical products that incorporate the design, such as shirts, mugs, tumblers, signs, wall decor, ornaments, stickers, and other laser-cut or vinyl goods.
• Cut, print, engrave, sublimate, or otherwise reproduce the design using your own equipment or a local print shop.
• Sell those finished products in a reasonable volume through your own shop, at craft fairs, or on marketplaces where you sell physical goods.
• Modify, resize, recolor, and combine designs to suit your project.
• Use the files with no attribution required. Credit is always appreciated but never mandatory.

What you CANNOT do

The Free License covers finished products, not the raw design files. To keep the library free and sustainable for everyone, you may not:

• Resell, share, or redistribute the raw digital files (SVG, DXF, or any source file) on their own, whether for free or for payment.
• Upload the files as-is to other marketplaces, template sites, or free-file directories.
• Include the files in a competing digital bundle, pack, library, or membership.
• Claim that you created, designed, or own the artwork.
• Register or attempt to trademark a design, or any close variation of it, as your own logo or mark.
• Use the designs in any way that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of others.

In short: sell what you make with our files, not the files themselves.

Originality and trademarks

Our designs are created to be original and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand, company, sports team, franchise, or public figure. Any resemblance to a real-world logo or property is unintended.

You are responsible for how you use each design. If you add trademarked names, logos, copyrighted characters, or other protected elements to a design yourself, you take on the legal risk for that choice. When in doubt, keep your products free of third-party brands.

Commercial volume

The Free License is intended to cover small-business commercial use: individual makers and small shops selling finished goods in reasonable quantities. It is not intended for mass manufacturing or large-scale print-on-demand operations that reproduce a single design in very high volumes.

If you need broader rights for high-volume production, print-on-demand at scale, or embedding designs into a product you distribute widely, an extended or paid commercial license may be offered in the future. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
